I am a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer in the Philippines. After successfully completing the board exam, I gained valuable experience as a Service Engineer at an Apple Authorized service provider. During my second year in that role, my exceptional performance earned me the title of Outstanding Engineer of the Year.
However, driven by my desire to explore new opportunities for personal growth, I decided to venture into different domains.
At present, my main focus is on pursuing my passion for development as a self-taught web developer and software engineer. I am continuously expanding my knowledge and keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies.
However, driven by a desire to embrace new opportunities for personal growth and exploration, I decided to venture into different domains.
Currently, my focus lies in pursuing my passion for development as a self-taught web developer and software engineer, constantly expanding my knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Creating something that I can be proud of gives me sense of fulfillment, that is one of the reason I decided to pursue developement. Right now I’m studying full stack web development (MERN-Stack), it is a fun experience and I also enjoy creating web apps.
I come across wordpress when I started working as a developer way back 2017. I designed websites and quality check my colleagues work for design consistency. I broaden my skills so I could make my design projects come to live in websites using wordpress.
I always follow specific steps when I’m working on a design project. In this way I can keep everything organised and it creates moments to talk about the project with my clients.
In the first part of the project I mostly ask questions and talk with my clients about what they want. I want to get a super clear picture of what they want and need. Only then can I deliver a product that both parties are happy with.
After I have a rough enough understanding of the client’s needs and wants I can start designing the first part of the website.
When it’s a big project I always start with wireframing. This is the process where I design in grey, without using colours, images and styling options. Then I share this design with my client and when they agreed I continue with the visual design. This is where I will add details and make it come to live.
When the design is done and my client is happy with the final design I go on with installing WordPress and all the plugins that I need for the project.
Then I will start creating the pages one by one and send my client preview links along the process. This makes it easy to get feedback for me and assures my client that they get the things that they want.
After all the pages are developed inside of WordPress I share a final preview link to my client. We will look at the result and edit any detail to make the website perfect. After a final check I will put the website live and give it the necessary optimisation for Google.
I like to use the latest software for my projects, so I know there is nothing better to use for my clients. These are the platforms that I use on a regular basis.
I often get asked the same questions. I’ve put the most common in this section.
Yes! I think this is one of the points that makes me stand out from other people who sell websites. Since I use the latest software it’s very easy to edit the text, images and other content on the pages. You can almost change everything if you want to.
I accept projects that start at $1000. The final price depends on your needs and wants, the design and the functionality.
You. I don’t own anything of the website. If you want I can give you full admin rights, so you can even delete me as you want. You pay for the website, so it’s your property.
The only thing that I want is to put the website in my portfolio if I want to.
Approximately 1-2 months. This mainly depends on the different revisions rounds that we have to go through to get a good result.
I’m comfortable is using these technologies. HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, github, SQL, NoSQL, RESTful, Authentication/Security and React. Right now, I’m still learning and sharpening my skills in these technologies.
